KYIV (QHA) -

The opening of the Kerch bridge led to the fact that the Crimeans massively rushed to the Kuban. That is, the bridge was built in order to get out of the annexed Crimea, the coordinator of the group "Information Resistance" Dmitry Tymchuk stated on his Facebook page.

According to Tymchuk, even Russian propagandists recognize that the opening of the bridge did not lead to a noticeable increase in the number of tourists in the Crimea, and some excitement was observed only in the first weeks after the opening, when the Russians went to see the bridge itself.

The People's Deputy noted that the main beneficiary of the opening of the bridge is the McDonald's restaurant in Anapa, which became a "pilgrimage place for the residents of the eastern Crimea".

“The Crimeans massively rushed to the Kuban to taste the benefits of civilization, which they were deprived of by Russia after annexation. Now the main beneficiary of the opening of the bridge is the McDonald's restaurant in Anapa, which became a place of pilgrimage for the inhabitants of the eastern Crimea (social networks have a lot of messages from happy devotees of spiritless [Russian common characteristic of the Western world] hamburgers). Ie, in fact the bridge was built to get out of the Crimea. This causes some stupor among the adherents of annexation,” Tymchuk wrote.

Tymchuk further noted, that no less telling situation was observed with the "federal highway" Tavrida. The highway, like the bridge, is an object of military infrastructure designed to saturate the Crimea with troops.

“But if the bridge has somehow been completed and, although in a limited mode, but opened, everything is much worse with the highway. Russian theft and negligence led to the fact that the road turns into a long-term construction. Only in this season, that is, after 4 years, when it is already impossible to turn a blind eye to disgrace, the process has been stepped up," he said.

Earlier Tymchuk stated that many people in Ukraine and the West perceive the Crimea not as an escalating military threat, but as a "captured beach".

According to Tymchuk, this information about the number of tourists and the condition of the resorts "distracts" the main position - about the number of military exercises on the peninsula and the buildup of the military grouping of Russia in the Crimea, the Sea of Azov, and in general in the responsibility of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation.
