Adnan Suyen's mosque construction goes on in Crimea

Constructing of mosque in Novopokrovka village of Kirovsky, Crimea, goes on, with its walls and the roof already completed.

The construction of the mosque is financed by Association for Culture and Mutual Assistance of Crimean Tatars in Bursa (Turkey). The construction began in 2013 and was initiated by then head of the Association Adnan Suyen.

On January 5, 2014 Suyen passed away of a heart attack. He was 59 years old.

Religious Administration of Muslims of Crimea took a decision to name the mosque after him.

The mosque in Novopokrovka will occupy 80 square meters and will be able to receive 80-100 people at once.

The doors of the mosque will open next year on Kurban Bayram holiday.
