February 1, the activists of the NGO "Economic Boycott movement" held an unusual requiem flash mob on the occasion of the closure of Alfa-Bank department in the center of the city of Lviv.

The participants brought a coffin and funeral wreaths to the doors of the department and faked a mournful look.

A funeral march accompanied a flash mob.

- We came here because we believe it cannot go on this way. While our guys at the cost of their lives are defending the integrity of our country fighting with Russian invaders, Russian banks continue operating in our country. I am a soldier of the third territorial defense batallion, and I cannot stand it. Actually, I think such firms owned by Putin's henchmen should be booted out of the country, said one of the flash mob participants Vasily Gerasimov.

According to the organizers, the flashmob coincides with an attempt by Russian banks to swallow the "Ukrsotsbank".
