Since the introduction of the visa-free regime, about 400,000 Ukrainian citizens have visited Europe, according to the report on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Head of the State Border Service of Ukraine Petro Tsigikal said that due to the strengthening of control over the entry of foreigners into Ukraine, 57 thousand people had passed control.

“Since the beginning of the year, 57 thousand foreigners have passed the control, including 42 thousand Russians,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs quoted Tsigikal.

Petro Tsigikal went on saying that the State Border Service obtained access to Interpol databases within the framework of visa liberalization. Thanks to this fact, 2.1 thousand wanted persons and 724 documents were revealed during this period.

QHA reported that from December 31, 2017 Ukrainians can travel to the United Arab Emirates on a visa-free regime.

Ukraine and the UAE agreed on visa liberalization during the visit of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to the country.
