A new wave of protests to sweep Turkey

Residents of Eastern and South-Eastern Anatolia in Turkey will hold another rally, but this time to say "No" to terrorism.

Even today, Turkish citizens of Eastern and South-Eastern Anatolia will take to the streets and squares with national flags, showing their response to the frequent attacks by Kurdish terrorists.

Addressing to the media, such protests are planned to be held in the provinces of Elazığ, Diyarbakır, Mardin, Bingöl, Siirt and Batman. All marches and demonstrations are due to begin after Friday prayers.

Today, due to the increasing number of Kurdish terrorist attacks in Turkey, and following a failed attempted military coup on July, 15, the Internal Affairs Ministry of the Republic has called out to Ankara the governors of 81 provinces for additional consultations.

Yesterday, the Turkish city of Elazig ws struck by a powerful explosion near the police department. The blast killed 3 persons, while 217 received injuries of varying severity.

In addition, the Kurdish terrorists attacked three Turkish cities in the provinces of Mardin, Diyarbakir and Sirnak.
