The OSCE Monitoring Mission in Ukraine reported on a death toll in Donbas conflict. Approximately 9.5 thousand people have been killed and 22,000 injured in Donbas over two years, reported Ukrinform citing the First Deputy Head of the Special OSCE Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, Alexander Hug as saying at a press briefing on Thursday, June 30.
According to Hug, a violence level has declined in the conflict zone, but it still exists and continues leading to tragic consequences.
Hug said that on Sunday in the village of Kominternovom the SMM observers found the bodies of two boys aged 6 and 7 years old. The boys died from the electric shock as a transmission tower was ruined by shelling.
These boys would be alive today if it were not for this violence, said the First Deputy Head of the OSCE SMM.
