As of now, the Regional Social Protection Departments of the Lviv City Council has registered 6830 people that are 4524 families displaced from the temporarily Russia-occupied territories of Ukraine and ATO area. The city has provided them with a financial assistance to cover living expenses, including those for housing and communal services.

According to the information by the Social Protection Department, 4286 families have applied for this help with 4058 of them having already been assigned corresponding payments in the amount of USD 2.14 million.

The city's social services do not only organize the take in of residents and provide them with advice, but also engage them in the paid public works at the departments for unemployed internally displaced persons (IDPs). Currently 37 people have been employed. Igor Galushak, Lviv
