To date, 61 citizens of Ukraine are imprisoned on the territory of the Russian Federation or in the occupied Crimea for political reasons, the coordinator of the Media Initiative for Human Rights Maria Tomak stated during a press conference held in Kyiv on October 18, QHA correspondent reports.

“Of them, 23 people have already been sentenced. A lot of detentions occurred in recent months. Since early summer, 18 people have been detained," Tomak specified.

Reportedly, today, October 18, a citizen of Ukraine Roman Ternovsky who is allegedly involved in the "right sector" was detained in Rostov-on-Don (RF). The organization itself states that Ternovsky is not a party to it.
