ERZINCAN (QHA) -

By order of the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and with the support of Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu 824 Meskhetian displaced persons will be settled in the town of Uzumlu of Erzincan province.

The first two groups of displaced persons were transferred from Ukraine to Uzumlu on December 25, 2015 and March 3, 2016. In total, 616 Meskhetian Turks (151 families).

Turkey's Mass Housing Administration has specially prepared the homes for the Meskhetian Turks in Geyikli area.

“A total of 824 Meskhetian displaced persons (172 families) will be housed on April 14 - 15. They will arrive from Ukraine by four flights. We have provided the houses with all the necessary household items,” said Fatih Acar, head of Uzumlu Administration.
