The First Volunteer Mobile Hospital named after N. Pirogov will send 20 doctors to ATO area in the coming days, Valentyn Nalyvaychenko, head of Spravelyvist NGO and former head of the Security Service of Ukraine, said at a press conference hosted by Gorshenin Institute on Tuesday.

“In the middle of this week, doctors will go to the East to save military and civilians,” he said.

Nalyvaychenko also told that Spravelyvist NGO creates a fund to finance the needs of physicians and soldiers on the frontline.

“We are creating a joint, public and transparent fund, which will be under total control of physicians. The objective of the Spravelyvist movement and all the international partners who support us is to raise funds and help,” he said.

During the press conference, almost 30 employees of the First Volunteer Mobile Hospital received the awards for the Medic Day - medals ‘For assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine,’ according to a QHA correspondent.

“The government recalled our doctors, 'knights in white smocks,' and I’m very pleased to present awards to our doctors on behalf of the military,” said Gennady Druzenko, the head of the First Volunteer Mobile Hospital.

The Medal 'For the promotion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine' is an incentive award from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence.
