If Russia does not agree to the Ukrainian debt restructuring terms, Ukraine will introduce a moratorium on the Russian loan of USD 3 billion, reported the Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk at a meeting with US Treasury Secretary Jack Lew.

- The Government proposed all creditors to join our debt restructuring process. All except Russia did it and we’ve completed the process. Once again I pay attention: Russia won’t get better terms than the other lenders. We proposed to hold talks Oct 29, but, unfortunately, Russia refused yet again. Therefore, now it depends on Russia whether it is ready to hold talks. And if Russia does not agree to the restructuring, the Ukrainian government will announce a moratorium on USD 3 billion debt payment to Russia, said the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister also added that Ukraine is waiting for IMF to take decision on funding for countries that have "certain contradictions with the creditors."
