Cabinet of Ministers dismissed the Government Plenipotentiary for the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol Aslan Ömer Kirimli, according to a decree № 1237-r dated 11.30.15 published on the official government website.
The official document reads, "Dismiss Omer Aslan Kyrymly Enverovich as the Government Plenipotentiary for the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol by mutual consent of parties."
Crimea was occupied by Russian troops in February last year. Following the referendum March, 16, held by the occupation authorities on the Ukrainian peninsula, the Russian Federation annexed Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. Reminder: until April 2015, Kirimli headed the Friendly Association of Crimean Tatars in Kyiv.
