Speaking to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Natalia Yaresko, Ukrainian Finance Minister, stated clearly that Ukraine would not put up with the annexation of Crimea, and told about the methods to return it, according to Reuters.

She announced the creation of a new initiative by Kyiv politicians that would help to return the territory.

“We are not resigned to losing Crimea. And it will be a crucial year in the beginning of its return,” said Natalia Yaresko.

She also stated that a new forum by analogy with the Geneva format is expected to be created this year. Ukraine will take a more active stance in radically new negotiations.

Yaresko also noted that Russia excluded all possibility of creating an international initiative on the Crimean issue in 2014.
