Kyiv (QHA) - President Viktor Yanukovych may pardon Tymoshenko despite the cases that are being today investigated against the former prime minister, First Deputy Prosecutor General Renat Kuzmin told the Holos Stolytsi radio station on Thursday, according to Ukrinform. "Today, despite all the cases, the President may pardon Tymoshenko. This is his right. And then no court will be able to contradict his decisions," he noted. Kuzmin reminded that since 1995, 24 criminal cases have been initiated against Tymoshenko. "These are the cases ranging from currency smuggling to machinations with Pavlo Lazarenko," Kuzmin said.
