World politicians are handed Crimean Tatar situation analysis

On January 9, 2014, representative of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people in Lithuania Dr. Adas Jakubauskas handed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania an Appeal of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people to the participants of the international meeting of experts and strategists called the ‘Snow meeting’ in Trakai (Lithuania), informs press service of Mejlis. This year the international ‘Snow meeting’ is attended by well-known Lithuanian and foreign politicians, officials and experts. In particular, the Foreign Ministers of Estonia, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden, deputy U.S. State Secretary on European and Eurasian Affairs, Deputy Secretary General of the EU to NATO, NATO experts, representatives of analytical and research international centers of Nordic and Baltic countries and others. The appeal of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people contained situation analysis of the Crimean Tatar people in Ukraine. Note: The ‘Snow meeting’ is an international traditional meeting organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania. This year, the participants discussed global security challenges in 2014, the upcoming NATO summit, prospects of the EU Eastern Partnership after the summit in Vilnius in November 2013.
