The 3rd stage of removing weapons in Luhansk direction is due to start today, Ruslan Tkachuk, the ATO representative, posted on his website.
“Under the plan, the 3rd stage of removing weapons is to start today. As part of the amendments to the Minsk Agreement, Ukrainian armed forces will withdraw the 82 mm mortars at a distance not less than 15 km from the boundary line,” the statement reads.
The withdrawal will be carried out under the constant monitoring of the OSCE observers, with presence of media.
Ruslan Tkachuk also noted that the ceasefire has been observed from 7am on October 14 to 7am on October 15 in Luhansk and Artemivsk directions (Popasnjansky district).
“Not a single violation of the ceasefire has been recorded,” reads the statement.
