Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people proposed 2 candidates to represent Crimean Tatar people in Crimean Parliament.
The owner of first Crimean Tatar ATR Channel Lenur Islyamov was proposed to the post of vice premier of Crimea, while vice head of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people Zaur Smirnov was proposed for the head of Republican Committee on Interethnic Relations and Issues of Formerly Deported Citizens.
“We proposed two candidates to observe the most important Crimean Tatar issues- Refat Chubarov said at the Mejlis sitting. They are not politicians, so they will not be involved in politics”- he added.
A reminder, that on March 30 the Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people made a decision to cooperate with Crimean authorities. Out of 21 Mejlis members voted in favor of this decision, 10 voted against.
