Former President of USSR Mikhail Gorbachev urged the leaders of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama to take the lead in negotiations in Ukraine.
“Vladimir Vladimirovich, Mr. Obama, I ask you to find a way to take the decisive step to help Ukraine return on the path of peaceful development. I rely on you very much,”- says the message, according to comments.ua
“I am sure it is in your power to achieve this goal. The warring parties must sit at the negotiating table,” said Gorbachev.
As reported, Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office confirmed the deaths of two people during the clashes in Kyiv. Hundreds of people are injured and hospitalized, including law enforcement officers.
