US will help to investigate terrorist attack in Istanbul

Following the reaction of the world community on a terrorist attack at Istanbul’s Ataturk airport, the US offered its help with investigations.

In connection with the tragic incident at one of the biggest airports of the Republic of Turkey – Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport – people around the world have been expressing their support and sympathy.

As of now, the Turkish police have already launched an investigation into the attack.

The official representative of the US Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mark Toner strongly condemned the latest developments and offered Turkey assistance in the investigation:

“We are going to work closely with Turkish authorities during the investigation. We stand in solidarity with our NATO ally Turkey in the fight against terrorism,” Mark Toner stated. 

He also stressed that the US determination in cooperation with the Republic of Turkey in the fight against terrorism, as well as establishing peace and stability, only get stronger.

Two explosions rocked Istanbul's Ataturk airport late in the evening on June 28. It is assumed that there were tree suicide bombers.

According to recent reports, the explosion killed 36 people and 147 injured.

Turkish Prime Minister B. Yildirim said that all the evidence suggests that ISIS terrorist organization is behind the explosion at the Turkish airport.
