The US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch in an interview with the Ukrainian television channel Pryamiy said that the United States consistently stands on the position of Ukraine's territorial integrity.
She noted that the US has constant consultations with the Ukrainian government on the fate of the annexed Crimea and the Donbas.
“Crimea is Ukraine. This is our main American position, "she said, adding that Washington also considers the Donbas solely as a territory of Ukraine."
The Ambassador also noted that the US has a powerful sanctions list against those who are guilty of the occupation of the Crimea and the war in the Donbas.
Earlier, Yovanovitch at the international forum "The Occupied Peninsula: Four Years of Resistance" said that the US will never recognize the annexation of the Crimea and will not remove sanctions from the Russian Federation until control over the peninsula is returned to Ukraine.
