WASHINGTON (QHA) -

When asked about the situation in Ukraine, John Kirby, a spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State, confirmed that the United States does not recognize Crimea’s annexation by Russia, TASS reports.

“We, as before, do not recognize Crimea’s annexation by Russia. That remains a serious problem,” Kirby said.

Kirby went on to say that the Unites States expects full implementation of the Minsk agreements and including Russia’s living up to its commitments under the agreements.
