Washington calls on the world to review their business relations with Russia, U.S. State Department spokeswoman Jenifer Psaki stated, referring to a number of agreements signed between Russia and India.
“Our view remains that it’s not time – for business as usual with Russia. But beyond that, we’d have to take a closer look at what these agreements entail,” Interfax quotes Psaki as saying.
At the same time Jen Psaki mentioned that the agreements signed between India and Russia will not affect the relations between Delhi and Washington.
The Russian leader's engagement in New Delhi, particularly his being accompanied by Sergey Aksyonov, the Prime Minister of Crimea, evoked sharp reaction in Washington, where preparations are already underway for President Obama's visit to India on January 25/26
