WASHINGTON (QHA) -

Russia is the biggest threat to the United States, the US Secretary of the Air Force, Deborah James, told in an interview with FoxNews TV Channel.

I think that number one threat is Russia. They have nuclear weapons, they have been acting in a very aggressive manners in the recent years, said Deborah James.

According to the Minister, a shining example of this policy is the situation in Ukraine.

Ukraine, of course, is suffering from the illegal annexation of the Crimea, said Deborah James.

As QHA reported earlier, US President Barack Obama said the United States will continue insisting on the implementation of the Minsk Agreements, as well as putting an end to the terror of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.

Earlier, the US State Department spokesman John Kirby said that the American Foreign Policy Department is concerned over the Moscow’s statement on the build-up of Russian forces in the south-western borders of the Russian Federation and the Crimea as well. John Kirby stressed that the United States urge Russia to immediately put an end to the occupation of the Crimea.

According to the spokesman, the sanctions imposed on Russia due to the annexation of the Crimea will remain in force as long as the occupation continues.
