The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation accuses the Ukrainians of crimes under Part 1, 2, Section. 209 of the Criminal Code ( gang involvment), Section 102 of the RSFSR Criminal Code (murder of two or more persons in connection with the official duty performance), reports the main investigation department webpage.
According to the investigative body, Nikolay Karpyuk and Stanislav Klyh jointly with Aslan Maskhadovn and Shamil Basayev were members of UNA-UNSO and participated in the Chechen resistance.
According to the statement posted on the official website of the Committee, the clashes with the participation of the accused took lives of 30 Russian soldiers.
Markin, Head of the Committee, says that they’ve enough evidence to convict the Ukrainians.
