NEW YORK (QHA) -

On the day of Vladimir Putin’s speech at the UN General Assembly, hundreds of Crimean Tatar activists took to the streets of New York city. The protesters claimed that they want to see their historical homeland free of occupation.

“We came here to express our support for the President of Ukraine and Mustafa Jemilev in their fighting for Ukraine’s territorial integrity. Sooner or later all of this come to an end and historical justice will be resorted, hence Crimean Tatars will live in their own land,” said the activist Ulker Osmanov.
