Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukraine's state-controlled railway carrier, resumed the traffic of the four pairs of trains in the direction from Kharkiv to Donetsk region, suspended since May 2.
The railway carrier said this in a statement on Monday.
"Today, July 7, the traffic of all trains of the Southern Railway has been resumed in the direction of Donetsk region. Specifically, in includes the following suburban trains: Kharkiv - Dubove, Kharkiv - Havrylivka, Kharkiv - Blyzniuky, Kharkiv Levada - Krasny Lyman," the report reads.
Ukrzaliznytsia also resumed the daily traffic of three pairs of suburban trains on the route Kupiansk Vuzlovy - Sviatohirsk in Donetsk region.
The traffic of an electric train Kharkiv - Husarovka is scheduled to be resumed on Tuesday.
