Ukrtelecom to be renamed Nashtelekom in Crmea

Ukrainian telecommunication company Ukrtelecom’s branch in Crimea will be re-registered in accordance with Russian legislation and renamed Nashtelekom (en.- Our telekom), Crimean Premier Sergey Aksyonov announced.

However, Ukrtelecom continues to provide full telecommunications services to its subscribers in the Crimea.

The System Capital Management company (Donetsk) announced the completion of the acquisition of 92.79% of the shares in Ukrtelecom from the EPIC company (Austria) on October 4, 2013.

System Capital Management and EPIC signed an agreement on sale of 100% of the shares in UA Telecominvest Limited (Cyprus), which owns the corporate rights to the ESU company (Kyiv), which, in turn, owns 92.79% of the shares in Ukrtelecom, on June 3.
