The Department Directors of Foreign Ministries held Ukrainian-Turkish consultations on political and security issues in the Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry, according to the Ministry official website.
The parties discussed the development of bilateral relations and agreed to intensify efforts to implement large-scale projects in strategic sectors, as well as outlined a plan of actions for the near future in the context of preparations for the meeting of the High Level Strategic Council co-chaired by the Presidents of Ukraine and Turkey.
The Department Directors held a thorough discussion on regional issues, the situation in the Black Sea basin and the Middle East. Representatives of the Turkish Foreign Ministry confirmed full support for the Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
The parties agreed to strengthen cooperation on monitoring the human rights violations in Crimea, as well as closer cooperation in the framework of international organizations.
