Ukrainian officials visit Iran

QHA - Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Kostiantyn Hryshchenko and Agricultural Policy and Food Minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk on Sunday visited Iran where they met with newly elected President Hassan Rouhani, the Ukrainian Embassy in Iran has told Ukrinform. "During the meeting Hryshchenko conveyed greetings from Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych to President Hassan Rouhani on the occasion of his appointment to the post. The Iranian president, in turn, expressed his gratitude for the greetings and for the participation of a Ukrainian delegation in the ceremony of his inauguration," the embassy said. The sides also discussed cooperation in agriculture and food, health care, pharmaceuticals, culture and education. Representatives of the two countries also agreed to hold Ukrainian Culture Days in Iran next year.
