As of April 15, the salary of the "people’s servants" is UAH 17,650, instead of 6400 as it was earlier, MP Olga Chervakova wrote on Facebook.
- The same sum will be allocated for the parliamentary work. The wage fund for Deputy Assistants has also been increased from UAH 12,500 to UAH 25,000, reported Chervakova.
She stressed the sums are without tax deductions, while after them the sum, the MPs will receive in hand, will a bit smaller.
According to Chervakova, from now on five Deputy Assistants are to recieve salaries whereas previously their number could not exceed four.
MPs Alexei Mushak and Mustafa Nayem in particular stood for increasing MPs’ salaries so that reduce the corruption risks.
