“Attacks launched by the Russian Aero-Space Forces have resulted in civilian casualties and caused hardly any damage to ISIS. This raises grave doubts over Russia’s ability to play a constructive role in resolution of the Syrian conflict,” reads a statement issued by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

Using fight against international terrorism as a pretext, Kremlin has been consistently pursuing the policy of creating instability zones and supporting anti-democratic regimes.

We are unanimous with the international community about the need to destroy ISIS which poses global threat. We also believe that reaching lasting peace and stability in Syria is only possible through elimination of radical-minded Islamic groups and deposition of the ruling regime in Damask.

The ultimate goal of the political process should be creating a government of national unity, as well as restoration of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria.
