Ukraine's Foreign Ministry condemned the visit to Crimea of the Polish MEP, the leader of the Polish Right Party KORWIN, since the Ukrainian authorities didn’t give the permission for it, reported a spokesman for Foreign Minister Marian Betz as cited by Radio Liberty.

- Visit by Polish MEP Janusz Korwin-Mikke to the illegally occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea has been carried out in violation of international law and the procedure established by the Ukraine’s legislation on foreign citizens visiting temporarily occupied territory, said Betz.

She noted that Ukraine applied the restrictive measures against Korwin-Mikke in 2014.

- We once again call on all foreign citizens to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and strictly adhere to the established order of entry into the temporarily occupied territory, urged spokesman.

MEP Janusz Korwin-Mikke has arrived to Crimea from Moscow December 10 and met the so-called Head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov.

Korwin-Mikke, known for his pro-Russian views, heads one of the right-wing Polish parties KORWIN, which failed to gain seats in the Parliament in recent elections in Poland.
