Kyiv (QHA) - In September this year, the Communist party of Ukraine starts collecting signatures for conducting referendum for Ukraine’s entrance to the Customs Union, reports UNIAN referring to the leader of the Communist Party of Ukraine Petro Symonenko.
“The question at the referendum will ask whether Ukraine should join the European Union or the Customs Union”, said Symonenko.
According to Symonenko, if Ukraine chooses to join the Customs Union, the Ukrainian budget will have revenue of 9 billion USD annually. But if it chooses EU, annual losses will constitute 2 billion USD.
Symonenko added that his party expects to collect at least 4 million signatures for conducting such referendum.
