Due to current political situation in Crimea, Ukrainian cities actively receive refugees from Crimean peninsula, Ukrainian media report.

“We are ready to help Crimeans who want to leave the peninsula.  There are different options for accommodation -motels, dormitories, mini-hotels.  Citizens also offer their help -cottages, apartments,” says first deputy of Kyiv city administration Bogdan Dubas.

Other cities of Ukraine also offer help to Crimeans.

It is also known that Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseny Yatsenyuk instructed the officials to prepare a plan for accommodating Crimeans who want to leave Crimea.  In particular, Crimeans will be assisted in receiving social, medical and other assistance in their places of stay.

To be noted, according to Ukrainian State Border Service, more than one thousand Crimeans left the peninsula already.  A considerable part of them are Crimean Tatars.
