President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko shared his impressions of trip to Azerbaidjan and meeting with Azerbaidjanian President Ilham Aliyev on his Facebook page, writing about prospects of cooperation with this Middle Eastern country.
– It is a great pleasure to be in Baku today on invitation of Azerbaidjanian President Ilham Aliyev. I am sincerely amazed by Baku – the capital which combines ancient history and modern times. The fifth Presidential board meeting took place and showed huge potential of cooperation, – Poroshenko stated.
The President mentioned that supplies of Ukrainian Antonov An -178 planes to Azerbaidjan are among the promising projects alongside with cooperation in fuel and power sphere, execution of a new “Silk road” project and combating smuggling at the Customs.
