Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN Yuriy Sergeyev said the US presidential candidate Donald Trump is a clown.
Sergeyev’s reaction has been unleashed due to the Republican’s recent statements as the latter leaves open the possibility to recognize Crimea as the territory of the Russian Federation.
- It looks like a clown Trump has completely flipped his lid on the background of his tour. He is even a greater danger to the United States than terrorism, the diplomat wrote on Twitter.
The US presidential candidate with the Republican Party, Donald Trump said he is ready to recognize Crimea as a part of Russia, if he takes the presidency. Trump’s statements are contrary to the official US stance, which recognizes the annexation of Crimea illegal. The US State Department refused to comment on the candidate’s statement saying it is a "pre-election rhetoric."
