Ukraine’s Embassy made a statement on Istanbul blast

Due to a today's explosion in Istanbul the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Turkey made a statement saying it shares the grief of the friendly people.

Today, the Turkish city of Istanbul was rocked by a blast just a walk from the Veznedzhiler Metro Station at the very moment when a bus with law enforcement officials was moving along. Following the explosion the shootout was heard. The bomb was planted in a car parked nearby.

The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Turkey condemned today's terrorist attack in Istanbul and expressed his condolences to those who lost loved ones:

- Terrorism cannot be justified under any circumstances, and this cruelty manifested in the Holy Month of Ramadan causes deep pain in our hearts. We express our deepest condolences to the families of those killed and wish a speedy recovery to those injured, according to a post by the Ukraine’s Embassy on Facebook.

According to the Istanbul Governor Vasip Shaheen, the blast killed 7 soldiers and 4 civilians and left 36 people wounded with three of them being seriously injured.
