The Ministry of Social Policy has registered 1,790,000 displaced persons, the Ministry press-service reports.

“As of July 4, 2016 - according to subdivisions of social protection for the population of regional and Kyiv city state administrations – there have been registered 1,790,267 displaced persons or 1,449,376 families from Donbas and Crimea,” says a statement.

It is also noted that 842, 698 families out of 905,489 ones asking for assistance were granted allowance. In total, according to the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, a total of UAH 1,650,066 thousand have been paid since the beginning of 2016.

Just a reminder: July 1, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko said that the government is not going to make payments to residents of the occupied territories. According to him, this is equivalent to terrorist financing.
