The President gave an interview with three Ukrainian TV channels (First National, New Channel and Espresso.TV).

During the conversation, the President said the government would not rescind a call to military service. "For sure, the conscripts will not be sent to the ATO area. Military age will be raised from 18 to about 20 years," said Poroshenko.

According to the president, a recruit must have a formed personality capable to master an art of war over a year.
