Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin initiates Ukraine's participation in the cybersecurity strategy of the European Union, according to his statement following the meeting with the Foreign Ministers of the European Union countries in Brussels, Ukrinform reports.
“I proposed Ukraine as a part of the future European Union strategy in the field of cybersecurity. “
According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ukraine's experience in this field is rather valuable. He noted that Estonia's presidency of the EU Council in the second half of the year will make efforts to adopt this strategy in the next six months.
Earlier, the media reported that the virus, which hit tens of thousands of computers around the world on the night of May 13, was launched into a network by cyber-grouping connected with Russia.
