Kyiv (QHA) - Ukraine did not supply or transited military goods from Russia to Syria in 2012-2013, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has reported, according to Ukrinform. "As for the article recently published in the U.S. newspaper Washington Post, dubbed 'Ukrainian port eyed as analysts seek Syria's arms source,' the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry responsibly states that military goods were not supplied or transited from Russia through the territory of our country to Syria in 2012-2013," reads the statement. The statement also notes that Ukraine calls on other states to follow the same responsible approach. As reported, the Washington Post, citing a report by C4ADS, a Washington-based nonprofit group, wrote that Ukraine's Oktyabrsk Port in Mykolaiv region is one of the key points on the path of Russian arms to Syria and a dozen other hot spots on the planet.
