Department of Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers (the government) of Crimea was created in Kyiv. Deputy head of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people Aslan Omer Qirimli was appointed head of the department.
“July1, 2014, I was appointed head of the Department of Crimea and Sevastopol”- Kirimli said to QHA.
According to him, activity of the department will be focused on creating and supporting economical, financial, political, social, informative and cultural ties with Ukrainian citizens, residing in Crimea and Sevastopol.
”Department’s staff includes analyst experts, specialist on international politics, specialist on public and private law and lawyer”- he added.
July 17 Ukrainian government adopted a resolution on creating State Service for Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol and Internally Displaced Persons.
Note: Aslan Omer Kirimli is deputy head of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, head of Community of Crimean Tatar People in Kyiv, Chairman of the Board of Crimean International Business Association, while also serving as advisor of Ukrainian MP Mustafa Jemilev.
