The steam recently resumed voyages between Sevastopol and the Turkish port of Zonguldak, according to the court order, posted on the website of the State Register of court decisions in Ukraine.

“It was established that during 2015 the ship VARYAG carried out 18 voyages between the ports of Sevastopol and Zonguldak (Turkey): In August 2015 - five, in September 2015 – 3, in October and November 2015 - 4, in December 2015 - 2,” the document says.

Following a long break, the ship VARYAG resumed service between the ports of Sevastopol and Zonguldak (Turkey) and on October 28, 2016 at 17.01 left the Cossack bay of the Sevastopol port in the direction Zonguldak port.

In this regard, the court decided to arrest the vessel together with the team in case of entry into the territory controlled by Ukraine.

Sevastopol ferry resumed service with Turkey after almost a year break which followed the incident with the collapse of the Russian Su-24 bomber. The aircraft was shot down by a rocket-type "air-air" with a Turkish F-16 over the Syrian territory and fell in Syria four kilometers from the border with Turkey.

The Russian president called it a "stab in the back" by the alleged accomplices of terrorists.
