The Defence Agreement will be signed for 15 years, The Telegraph reports.
Britain's Defence minister Michael Fallon said that this Agreement is a token of the United Kingdom’s support for Ukraine intending to protect its sovereignty.
“Britain will stand firm with Ukraine until the end, because Ukrainians protect the territorial integrity of their State. The new Defense Agreement provides for the increase of our commitments to Ukraine and physical training Ukrainian Armed Forces,” Fallon said.
According to the document, the countries are going to hold joint military exercises where the British will help the Ukrainian military to master new combat tactics.
The validity of the previous Defence Agreement with Britain expired in 2006.
