LONDON (QHA) -

Ukraine and the United Kingdom agreed to expand bilateral cooperation in several areas, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin stated after a meeting with British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson.

"We managed to say that we will expand our cooperation in strategic communications and other issues," he informed.

Klimkin stressed that the parties discussed the possibility of hosting British diplomats expelled from Russia in Ukraine.

"I spoke with Boris about this, but we still have to agree on the details of what is the best way to do it and how many people," he said.

QHA reported that the British Embassy in Ukraine published a video on its Twitter page with an appeal to release all Ukrainian political prisoners kept in the Russian Federation. British diplomats said that Russia continues to violate international law.
