Ukraine and Georgia agreed on economic cooperation

At the Munich Security Conference, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili agreed ramp up the "Silk Road."

"The parties discussed topical issues of the bilateral agenda and agreed to intensify economic co-operation, in particular, the development of a new route" Silk Road, according to the statement.

Poroshenko expressed gratitude for Georgia’s humanitarian assistance in rehabilitation of Ukrainian children and wounded soldiers.
