Following the conversation with the Head of Ukraine, the President of the European Council Donald Tusk wrote in his Twitter, that he does not believe the statements by the Russian authorities.

“Conversation with the President Poroshenko. We seem to assess the situation in Crimea and Donbas. Russian version is doubtful,” he wrote.

August 13, during a telephone conversation with US Vice President Joe Biden, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko stressed that the Russian recent false statements concerning the terrorist threat on the part of Ukraine in the occupied Crimea are hybrid provocations and nothing more than another attempt to justify further aggressive actions of Russia and the massive repressions in the Crimea.
