Turks living in different US states arrived in Washington for a round the clock vigil outside the Turkish Embassy. By holding the vigil, they are trying to prevent Armenians from staging an anti-Turkish protest in commemoration of the 1915 events.

The activists have been treating everyone to tea and sweets in the tents put up outside the Turkish Embassy. There are flags and posters saying that Turkey would never own up to committing genocide against Armenians.
