ANKARA (QHA) -

Turkey has a legitimate right to respond to its airspace violation that was commited despite repeated warnings, reported the Turkey’s Prime Minister Mehmet Davutoglu as cited by Reuters.

- Everyone should know that our international law and national duty is to take actions against anyone who violates our air and land borders, said Davutoglu, according to the Associated Press citing the Russian Air Forces.

As the QHA (Crimean News Agency) reported earlier, the Turkish Air Force downed a Russian Su-24, which crashed on the territory of Syria. This information was officially confirmed by the Turkey’s Defense Ministry and the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation. However, despite all evidence and the Turkey’s position, Russia insists the plane didn’t violate the Turkish airspace and was brought down from the ground.
