Turkish fighter jets attack PKK camp

Eight Turkish fighter jets attacked positions of the Kurdistan Worker's Party in Northern Iraq's Kandil.

Following the airstrike, the Turkish General Staff released a statement saying:

"Using data supplied by our intelligence, eight F-16 and F-4 2020 fighter jets launched airstrikes on targets (ammunition depots, hideouts and bunkers) in Northern Iraq's Kandil at 9 to 11 p.m. on April 4, 2016. The targets were destroyed as a result of a direct hit".

Turkey has been launching airstrikes on PKK’s positions in Northern Iraq for the last several months.
